I'm raising money for Dogs Trust
Anyone who knows me, know that I love dogs. I grew up with a Bernese Mountain Dog called Meg and loving Labrador called Holly, who both came from rescue centres. Now I have two beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniels called Charlie & Rosie who keep me busy.
It find it awful when I see programmes or adverts about animals being mistreated, or are left in homes for years. I want to help them all! I see all the dogs that I've had as family, not just a pet. They make me smile, pick me up when I'm a little down and are always happy to see me.
With that being said, I've decided to play upon my strengths and opt to compete in local 10k's and triathlons, to raise money for Dogs Trust. (In the hopes of hitting some PB's along the way!)
The events I'll be competing in are:
1. Great Yorkshire Run (10km run - 24/7/16)
2. Ellerton Park Triathlon (6/8/16)
3. Leeds Triathlon (11/9/16)
4. Kirkstall Abbey Run (10km - 18/9/16)
5. Leeds Abbey Dash (10km - 6/11/16)
